With preparations now well under way for the upcoming Rome Wasn't Burned in a Day events at London's Lyric Theatre, Trampolene has just receieved the accompanying cd, labelled the Original Soundtrack and featuring 8 new songs by Julian. There is also a limited edition promo only cd that comes with it featuring tracks by the other artists who will be appearing at the event, like Sunburned Hand of Man and Vibracathedral Orchestra. Deatils have been added to the music section.

Details of the October/November shows are in and here they are:

Liverpool Academy: October 27
Tickets from: http://www.liverpoolacademy.co.uk

Rome Wasn't Burned in a Day
Lyric Theatre, London: October 30, 31 and November 1
Tickets from: http://www.lyric.co.uk
Or call the Box Office: 08700 500 511

The only other details I have is that all of Julian's appearances will be with a full band. Not sure what that will look like yet as a few of Julian's old cohorts are members of Spiritualized who should be touring North America around that same time. Other bands will be appearing at the Lyric Theatre event, but these have yet to be announced.

Exciting news from Julian's monthly "Address Drudion" from the Head Heritage web site says that a three day festival called Rome Wasn't Burned in a Day is being planned for either late October or early November at Hammersmith's Lyric Theatre. As soon as I hear any ticket information I will pass it on. Quote from Julian:

"There's gonna be underground rock'n'roll films, coupla lectures, some deadly current rock bands, a Brain Donor show and my first performance with my electric band since 1996CE. The latter will include obvious monolithic barbarian classics such as 'Reynard the Fox', 'Shot Down', 'Spacehopper' and that Shut Your Mouth song, as I've been recently yearning to hang from a large mikestand without a guitar round my neck."

Also, there are some great pictures of Julian at the Barcelona Primavera Sound festival from May 23rd of this year. Follow this link: http://www.twodeadstars.com

A few bits of news: Julian will be performing at the following festivals this summer. All appearances are solo and acoustic.

23 May: Primavera Sound Festival, Barcelona
27 June: Glastonbury (Acoustic Tent)
2 August: Cambridge Folk Festival

Brain Donor recently released the new 7" single from Too Freud. The single is My Pagan Ass b/w Like A Motherfucker. For one reason or another it isn't available through Head Heritage so you will have to track down a copy at your local record store or on-line. I recently picked a copy up on ebay for $7US. It is a limited edition, I believe of 2000.

Finally rumours are still going round that we can expect to see the long awaited Citizen Cained album sometime this year.

Please toss your old bookmark if you have one and update it to reflect the new location, as the forwarding page from the old address will be taken down soon:
